|
Off-circuit tap
switches
are designed to be primarily used in distribution
transformers. The standard manufacturing range
extends from 6 600 volts to 36 000 volts and from 30
amps to 150 amps applications. They are available as
linear and or rotary type versions.
Neutral Earthing
Resistors
are used in modern electrical reticulation, with the
purpose of enhancing the safety of personnel and
electrical equipment.
Air cooled NERs have a variety
of applications, ranging from mine transformer
applications of 550 volts - 10 amps continious up to
substation applications where the short time current
of 360 amps and 11 000 volts is often required.
Oil cooled NERs
are used mainly in electrical distribution
reticulation and can cover the range up to 44 000
volts and 960 amps of short time current of up to 30
seconds.
Earth Screens
are specifically used on converter and rectifier transformers. Our earth screens are
manufactured to customer specifications and are
manufactured to suit transformers up to 6 000 KvA
and 36 000 volts.
CDP Manufacturing also
manufactures a variety of
accessories for distribution transformers,
such as
oil gauges
(either in bolt-on or weld-on types) and low voltage
resin
bushings.
